Mrs. Earl I found a total of 5 mistakes. one mistake that I found was on number 6, you did not circle 0.98765…, because that is an irrational number because we don’t know what the next numbers will be. Another mistake that I found was on number 8, the answer is not a positive 4, it is a negative 4. Another mistake that I found was on number 11, you multiplied the number you got when you multiplied the original times the percent off and you should of subtracted 800 minus 200(which was the amount off). Another mistake that I found was on number 12,you said that 57% was the percent discounted, but that number is unrational because half of 56 is 28 and

Mrs.Earl I accidentally pressed the submit comment. I left off telling you about the mistake on number 12, you said that 57% was the percent discounted, but if you really think about it, 57% is an irrational amount because half of 56 is 28 so if the percent is 57% then the amount must be smaller. The final mistake I found was on number 13, you should of put the 24 on the bottom of the proportion not 20.

Although we use 3.14 when we calculate equations involving pi, they are not the same. 3.14 is a rational number because it ends. Pi is really 3.14159265358979323
